Zip your files. Go on, try it. You’ll find that WinRAR compresses those huge files of yours a lot more than Winzip would. You can also extract almost any type of other file that has been compressed. This archive manager can compress your files in a variety of formats, even the Zip format. What else this can do is automatically sense what type of file it is, like multimedia, and choose the best compression method for that file.
This is great for sending data safely over the internet because it is encrypted. You can also name your files with longer characters than other compression software.
Worst:It seems a wee bit slower than other compression software. But you know what? That is ok because it is a powerhouse program with no known or detected bugs.
